ABOUT THIS DRESS

Rinna knit dress for girls is a quick and easy sew to make a simple and comfortable dress, perfect for summer days! This pattern provides 2 length options; maxi dress and knee length. It has a tie strap that adjusts a high waist, or elastic waist. You can make this dress with or without side pockets. The armholes and neckline may be finished with bindings or bands, both options are included in this tutorial. This pattern goes from 1 to 10 years.

What will you need?

• ballpoint needles (are used through the tutorial)
• fabric (1 1/4 to 1 1/2 yards for the maxi dress and 3/4 to 1 yards for the knee length) – 100% polyester thread of matching color
• sewing machine
• rotary cutter or scissors
• pins and safety pin
• knitting needle or other long tool
• 1×1 inch piece of light weight fusible interfacing
• 3/8” (1 cm) wide soft knit elastic for waistband (optional)
