ABOUT THIS DRESS

Rosette is the perfect dress for Spring and Summer! It features a front-only bodice with ruffled straps that cross at the back and attach to the waistband with button/buttonhole, snaps fasteners or you can simply sew them to the dress. A high waist with shirred waistband and a wide skirt with 2 layers of ruffles.

You can sew this dress using different fabrics to dress it up or dress it down! Check the pictures!

Testers have rated this pattern as confident beginner to intermediate sewers, due to the technique of shirring with elastic thread. Although I have included an option using elastic instead. Sizes available are 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 years.

What will you need?

• woven fabric (2 1/4 to 3 yards of 44″ wide fabric)
• thread of matching color
• elastic thread or 1/8″ wide elastic (3 yards)
• 1 1/4 yards of 1/4” wide elastic
• circular cutter or scissors
• 2 medium size buttons
• pins
